May is Mental Health Awareness Month
All of us at Lake Norman Family Therapy join with other mental health practitioners and advocacy groups in raising awareness about mental health issues through support, education, and advocacy.
If you are interested in learning more about mental health, understanding your own, or a family member/friend’s struggles, or becoming an advocate for education and change in the mental health community, a good place to start is through NAMI (National Alliance on Mental Illness).
