Dawn Ward

Dawn joined Lake Norman Family Therapy in 2025. She graduated from North Carolina State University in 2013 with a Master’s in Education. Dawn is qualified to work with all ages but especially enjoys working with adults, college students, men, women and senior adults. Areas of speciality include life transitions, relationships, trauma, anxiety, depression, boundary work, narcissistic relational abuse, PTSD and C-PTSD. Dawn is also a certified Somatic Experiencing Practitioner. She incorporates a mind body approach to therapy. She is also trained in EMDR and Flash EMDR. Dawn’s approach is relational and solution focused with an emphasis on what has happened to you and not what is wrong with you.
