What is EFT Tapping?

Tapping is a non-invasive evidenced based therapy technique that uses self-administered light consecutive tapping on 7-9 acupressure points located on the face and chest.  This technique can provide significant relief from distress, anxiety, decrease unwanted cravings, and even improve personal performance and feelings of self-confidence. According to Nick Ortner of The Tapping Solution App, in under 10 minutes you can reduce stress and anxiety up to 41%.

Is Tapping Scientifically Proven?

Since the inception of tapping in 1995, it has been determined in over 100 studies that EFT is an efficient and effective treatment for reducing the physiological symptoms associated with stress, anxiety, depression and other mental health related issues. In a 2020 randomized controlled trial examining the effects of EFT on stress, this study concluded EFT significantly decreased levels of cortisol, a hormone associated with stress. Other studies suggest this practice can also reduce an individual’s heart rate and blood pressure.
